“There is not a single approach to any family law case. Each client deserves a unique strategy which will necessitate a different approach and path for delivering clients to the end of each case. My job is to work with each client to counsel him or her through the process in a manner that suits their best interest and that of their family. My goal is to guide each of my clients to that end in the most client-focused, ethical and cost-effective manner as possible.” – Raelynn
Raelynn Stattner brings ten years of experience to the Fleischer & Ravreby team. She is a Certified Specialist in Family law and has exclusively devoted her work to all aspects and stages of family law matters. Raelynn approaches her cases with a focus on the well being of her clients, both emotionally and from a legal perspective.
Prior to joining Fleischer & Ravreby, Raelynn worked at several other leading San Diego law firms where she refined her skills as a divorce attorney.
Experience & Education
Raelynn grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to San Diego to attend California Western School of Law, from which she graduated cum laude in the top 12% of her class in 2010. Raelynn decided to stay in San Diego to start her legal career and began working post-graduation with a very experienced and well-known family law attorney in the city.
During the early years of her career, Raelynn took a special interest in child custody relocation cases as well as interstate and international custody matters. These types of cases can be complex and difficult to navigate. Not only must the Court determine the primary residence of the children in one state or country, the parties must navigate between competing state and international jurisdictions to enact enforceable custody orders in the best interests of the children. Raelynn has successfully counseled clients through these difficult times.
Along with relocation and jurisdictional child custody cases, Raelynn is experienced in pre-marital agreements, high-conflict child custody cases, complex property division cases (including high asset and high income earner cases), child and spousal support issues, paternity case and post-judgment modification matters.
In addition to her law degree from California Western School of Law, Raelynn earned her Bachelors in Science, summa cum laude, in Public Relations with a minor in Political Science in 2007 from Northern Arizona University. She is a member of the California State Bar Association and San Diego County Bar Association, Family Law Section. Raelynn was named a 2020 Rising Star in San Diego by Super Lawyers.
In the Community
When not practicing law, Raelynn enjoys playing with her young daughter, hiking and beach time outdoors. Family and her daughter are the cornerstones of her life, so she understands how important yours are to you. Her focus will be to protect those in the best manner possible.
“I hired Raelynn Stattner to represent me in the dissolution of my 26-year marriage. I was a shattered woman, angry and full of fear, and Raelynn held my best interests in mind and guided me through the entire dissolution process with such comfort. I would never want to relive the experience of dissolving a marriage, but I will be forever grateful to Raelynn for her competent and compassionate service.”
