SAN DIEGO (September 12, 2019) Myra Chack Fleischer, the lead counsel and founder of Fleischer & Ravreby, is featured in The Daily Transcript’s Top 50 Influential Leaders in San Diego for 2019.
According to The Daily Transcript, a respected local business publication, the annual list was released in a special supplement published Sept. 4, 2019 and profiles the city’s influential business leaders – with a goal of honoring professionals doing the most cutting-edge work in real estate, construction, development, law, finance and the public sector.
Concentrating her practice on divorce, property, custody and support, settlement agreements, mediation, family law appeals and asset division, Fleischer founded her firm in 2001. In her many years of practice, she has volunteered with courts as a judge pro tem, has offered pro bono legal services to those who could not afford an attorney and has also volunteered at domestic violence clinics offering free legal services to victims of abuse. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked for 10 years as an accountant in public accounting and then as the controller of an international mid-sized software company. Her financial background combined with her law expertise is key to her success in representing clients in cases where there are issues involving complex asset divisions.
She is currently the national president of the Jewish National Fund’s Women for Israel Campaign. In this capacity, with the help of volunteers all over the United States she oversees the fundraising goal of $22 million for Jewish National Fund’s 2019 campaign year. She has been an active member of Jewish National Fund’s board of directors since 2010 and previously served multiple terms as its regional president.
Additionally, she has served in multiple leadership roles for Congregation Beth Am, including vice president of the board of directors.
